Accept & Proceed
Accept & Proceed's commitment to sustainability and social impact inspired me to create a striking poster for their talk. The brief was simple: design the letter 'F', using black, white, and green and drawing inspiration from A&P's latest work for Nike. To approach the project, I began researching basketball and the culture surrounding the sport, as I saw an opportunity to incorporate these elements into the design.
Overview
I was drawn to the symmetry and visual rhythm of the basketball court, with its rectangular shapes and intersecting lines. I realised that these elements could be used to form the letter 'F' in a unique and compelling way. I experimented with different compositions and perspectives, trying to find a way to capture the energy and dynamism of the sport while still keeping the design simple and elegant.
Process
Eventually, I settled on a design that used the lines of a basketball court to create the form of the letter 'F', with green accents adding a pop of colour and emphasising the connection to sustainability. The final result was a bold and dynamic poster that captured the essence of Accept & Proceed's values and mission, while also pushing the boundaries of my own creativity and design skills. It was an exciting project to work on, and I am proud of the outcome.
