Design as an Attitude

The "Design as an Attitude" poster series was created for a talk by design critic Alice Rawsthorn.. The series features 9 unique typographic designs, each showcasing a different aspect of Rawsthorn's ideas about the transformative power of design. Some of the posters incorporate a glowing effect, while others are more robust in their composition. By using typography as the primary design element, the series emphasises the power of language and communication in design, and demonstrates the many different ways that type can be used to convey meaning and evoke emotion.

Overview

Each poster represents a different aspect of Rawsthorn's vision for the role of design in our lives, from its ability to challenge assumptions to its capacity to transform the way we see the world. Through our designs, we have the power to communicate ideas, inspire action, and effect real change. Whether through the use of a glowing effect or a more robust composition, the designs aim to capture the attention of viewers and inspire them to engage with the ideas and values espoused by Alice Rawsthorn in her work.
